2. Hewler Short Film Festival

    The second Hewler International Short Film Festival which is
    organized by Ministry of Culture’s Cinema Department in Erbil,
    will be taking place in February 2007. Cinema Department
    made an announcement and asked Kurdish directors to
    submit their short films for the festival. The films should be
    less than 18 minutes and in mini DV, DV or DVD format.
    Additionally the films should have something to do with the
    Kurdish problem. The date of the festival is not specified in the
    announcement but more information could be obtained from
