The festival takes place in Australia from 22nd February to 4th March and Half Moon will be presented in the Natuzzi competition section, New Crowned Hope section and World Cinema section. The workshop will be run for Indigenous filmmakers called the 'Long Black Feature Development Program' and the nine filmmakers participating in the workshop are working on their first feature. The workshop will be held between 11-22nd March at Byron Bay in NSW. Ghobadi will attend this festival as an advisor at the Australian Film Commission Long Black Lab. Advisers are required to work with four of filmmakers on their scripts, and present one of their own films to the group with Q&A afterwards. Also Ghobadi's third feature Turtles Can Fly will be screened during the workshop. |
